Your way will say place B, as you ignore marriage rates. You can't ignore marriage rates. In a country where few people get married, then it is likely that fewer people will get divorced. But that does not mean the chance of a successful marriage is higher.

If I met a man that had been with a really large amount of women I doubt that relationship would go very far. It isn't that I think that he would absolutely cheat on me, I would just feel that variety was really important to him and I would not be so sure he would ever be content with just one woman, whether it be me or someone else. I would hope he would feel the same about me.
