Just a thought I had, women would you date a guy who played poker for a living? As in, actually knew what he was doing, was a winning player and made money doing it.

Not that I care either way, but interested to hear the responses!

Why would you say that?

Poker is a highly mathematical and strategic game that takes lots of intelligence and skill to play profitably. Hardly the stuff of degeneracy.

no, i know...poker is like my go-to hobby. i'm always down for a hand.

and at one point i was close to going down to vegas and profiting off the tourists who view it as a gambling game.

but there are better uses of my time.

why not put that intelligence to work and do something useful? last i checked the world had many problems...some of them solvable, even.

fwiw, i wouldn't say 'never' to a professional poker player life partner...but, she'd have to be involved in something else.
