Or in financial terms, it would be like bragging about being able to afford McDonald's for a date.

Wow, who knew that getting to know someone could be such an ordeal, so complicated? It's supposed to be fun.

what I do in my sparetime is a great question lol It sounds a lot better than "what do you like to do for fun?"

Could you share the entire process you go through before you get to the phone convo? For example, you go to a club and get a girl's number, you call her the next day?

Why don't you limit your pre-date conversation to texting? I think it's more suited to your comfort level. After you've text enough, set up a date and then you can talk properly then. If dinner is too formal for a first date set up after texting, do coffee or lunch.

I'm a female. I think people ask this question a lot because they want to see if this new person they're getting to know is somewhat adventuresome, willing to try & learn new things, willing to get out there & do things & not be a homebody, interested in other cultures, ways of life, wants to enjoy life, etc. So this question on the surface may seem ordinary or simple, but in reality, it reveals certain POSITIVE things about a person.

I personally LIKE traveling, like I assume most people do. If I had extra moneye to spend, I'd do it 2-4 times a year, I'm talking bigger 1-2 week trips/cruises. I'd probably do day trips & weekend getaways several times a year.

For me, if someone doesn't like traveling, it's not the end of the world. Maybe that's something a couple can grow to do together & have fun.

What you do in your sparetime can be anything. What you do for fun is kind of weird because people ae not out having fun every weekend.

So - I have a suggestion for you. Every adjective that you use to describe these women or these questions - apply them to yourself instead and you will see yourself as we see you.

Try traveling around a poor Southeast Asian country big on tourism with an Asian-American friend if you're white and see how your friend is as good as invisible there.

I have traveled and met some nice people from France, Norway and Netherlands.

At a macro level, the culture in the US towards minorities is much more favorable, welcoming and open.
I'm from Europe, all my family is still there and I couldn't disagree with you more.

It's short for "mathematics".

The majority of your list comprises subjects about which you've consistently created damning threads when women have brought them up to you.

And yet he still wonders why a first date remains elusive and a second virtually unheard of. It's all their fault.
