That's why I'm really trying to avoid this forum. If you're going to bring up heightism, you're pretty much told to stay in your lane.

You seem to have issues with your height. Date a latina if you're so insecure about it. Latino men are usually 5'6 ish tall, so the women won't care if you're under 6 feet.

Why do each of you insist on focusing on the women who "hate" "short guys" instead of focusing on the women who like guys of a wide range of height ? Who cares about a few thousand women or whatever number of women who post hateful stuff about short guys on twitter ? Why let them control how you feel about yourself ?

By giving those who hate attention, you only help them win.

You should instead ignore tweets about women hating short guys, and focus instead on meeting women in real life, many of whom will not find your height a problem.

He's just over 5'8".

His ex-girlfriend is 6'0".

It's only about height if you make it that way.

OP, why bother worrying about the women who don't like short guys? Would you rather date them and deal with their superficial nonsense?

Or would you rather spend your time finding someone who doesn't care how tall you are. The vast majority of women out there who couldn't care less about how tall you are.

THIS! Bravo, Dav! Why is the OP so eager to surrender his self-esteem to some twitter chicks? He was happy with his height until suddenly he stumbled upon a blog and a twitter page? Why can't he just blow it off and go back to being his contented self? This is the mystery of it.

Well, then, if you're so motivated to have a girlfriend, you can start going through those rejections and go get that yes. You just admitted you can. So, do it !
