And I don't care that he takes a few hours to respond because sometimes I take a few hours to as well, but I've noticed that if you really like someone you'll scrape out 30 seconds to text regardless of how busy you are. Unless you're a nuclear reactor tester or something... in that case, please ignore texts.
Its your boyfriend though.. way different situation

BTW: constant texting and asking "hey, what's up" is annoying and does not invite to have a conversation. Besides, many people still like to... talk.
If a girl says that "she is a bad texter" is also means that she doesn't prefer this way of conversation...

There's your answer. You can definitely identify needy people by their texting style. And while it's a good informational tool ("what time do you want to meet?"), carrying a conversation is very different.

women will drop text talk if you are B-O-R-I-N-G. so don't be boring, which means lite conversation where you don't care if it fizzles off. learn to be funny, entertaining, where she wants to return your text, then insert some normal questions here and there.

Here's an example of a chat i had with someone a few minutes ago. She's a fricken hot 20something girl i met online that i've been texting her since yesterday. Remember, I'm in my 40s and "could be her dad" haha. Also I have yet to meet her in person, but as you could imagine after you read it, i'm working on that. She stopped texting earlier because she was working. Then i got her back into the conversation.... Mod cut: Not PG-13.

enjoy!

Yeah, it's annoying to me and if a girl is like that I just stop talking to her and don't ask her on another date. It's a pet peeve of mine.

And if she's texting me....she better have an iPhone with iMessage, I need to make sure she read my text. I don't mess with girls with android and their green text bubbles....
People who lead active and productive lives are not on their phones texting back and forth all day long. Also, I would rather have a phone conversation than text. If a guy starts to have a conversation via text, I politely ask him to call me instead.

Simple, I don't "text".

Email, yeah, sure.

Text...No.

It takes less time to dial the number and push send to TALK.
