I am so confused. I just am frustrated about paying all those months for health insurance that I wasnt supposed to get.

My baggage fits in a carry on

We got a snow day today. First time in years since that happened.

Sixy - my mom just retired after 40 years of teaching due to the new testing requirements here. Tests every week and test preps the rest of the week (I don't know the terminology). Basically, there was no time to teach so the kids would never advance. Kinda pointless.

Wow! Snow in Tx? You have got to be freezing your arse off!
It's been cold here too. We had a "snow delayed entry" lol

Yup, that's basically what is happening here. It is really sad to see education take this route. Teach to the test...It's frustrating for the kids and the teachers. My poor babies were doing a practice test today...they are going to STRUGGLE with the rest of these assessments.

It's crazy here. Everything shut down for that. The city just isn't prepared to deal with ice on roads.

We watched that movie "Warm Bodies" that hawk mentioned. It was pretty good, a little corny but we liked it...........
