This is true. But why on earth would I EVER want to date or be interested in a man who thinks cheating is okay? That's what I don't understand, but maybe some people are into that.

You answered your own question. Some people just like or want the challenge and don't give a rip of someone's spoken for or not, they just want you, period.

I want to be a forbidden pineapple. But only if it means I get to go to Hawaii

Seriously though, I get the forbidden fruit bit when men know you are taken, I was talking about when they don't know. Like when a stranger asks you to dance with him (had this happen to me three times in one night... after months of no man even giving a hint of hitting on me. The only difference, I was seeing someone). I think it's got to be something about attitude (or smiles or lack of BRF) some how.

I have that BRF syndrome as well.

I think having the goatee doesn't help either, adds another layer of "meaness" or cold or whatever.

It's because you're happier and more confident.

Its the same reason why so many people recommend others to hit the gym if you want to do better in dating. Very little of the success that comes from following that advice is that you can lift 20# more or lose an inch on your waistline; most of it is because you feel better physically, therefore mentally, and your confidence and happiness increase and that changes how people see you.

There is nothing out there like getting laid regularly to increase the prospect pool. When it rains, it pours.

Yeah, its funny, I have long hair too. So when I don't have my hair in a pony tail, and I got shades on with the goatee, I look like something off of the set of Sons of Anarchy.

Which is funny, because I'm not that guy, even though I may look like it.

I'm probably one of the most easy going non-violent types there are, it's just funny to see how people judge and label you. I get why people do I'm not even made about it, it's just funny to see in real life.

So I must really have BFS.

In one of the town's in my home state, having a goatee meant you were a devil worshipper, my friend got harassed a lot until he finally just left

My wife says I walk around looking like I have a scowl on my face. When I then put a smile on, she thinks it looks creepy. I can't win either way.

Spoiler
Okay, when I put the smile on, the intent is to look creepy.
