When I was a freshman, I asked a sophomore guy I was in a play with to the Homecoming dance, and we "dated" until the next year's homecoming, although I wasn't allowed to actually go out on dates until I was 16, so our "dating" consisted of hanging out at school and in extracurriculars, hanging out at one another's houses, and going to movies occasionally when accompanied by his college-age sister and her boyfriend. I had a huge crush on a senior my sophomore year, but it was unrequited, and then he moved away for college. My junior year, had dates to dances, but no steady boyfriend. That summer, I met a guy who I dated most of my senior year. I went to both my junior and senior prom in big groups of guys and girls, versus with a date, because that was kind of the trend at the time at my school.
I actually dated a lot more in HS than I did in college, because dating wasn't really a "thing" at my college. Most people just "hung out" and hooked up.
I think the poll question should have been did you have sex in high school, I would think that's what the OP is really looking for. Going on a date in high school does not nessicarily imply sex.
Going on a date would've required me to leave my room. Other than going to school, I rarely left my room during high school. Forget having a girlfriend. I was just trying to survive.
I loved HS...I look back on it as the best days of my life.
I was the exact opposite...I couldn't stand being home.
I was dating someone older when I was in high school so it didn't count. I never messed around with anyone from school.
I never went to homecoming, prom, grad night or even graduation. I was a loner and just kept to myself.
I have completely erased from my life anything that reminds me of high school or college other than the degrees that I hold and the text books I use for reference.

Actually you are wrong. I was talking about old-fashioned dating, as I said, prom, homecoming, mall dates, movie dates. I didn't have sex in high school. A large percentage don't, even today. Average age of virginity loss is 17 for both girls and boys.
High school was kinda of a "blip on the radar" sorta speak; that didn't hold any real significance when I was there. That hasn't changed 9 years later.
