Why should you ever give up in having a family. Men can have children up to the day they die. No real biological clock ticking away. And I have never seen a older mans children come out compromised due to their "aged" sperm.

I prefer a man who is about 10 years older than me. They also like me and I don't care why.

IME, it depends on the 20 something and on the 40 something. Smaller boobs don't sag, not IME, and everything else stays hot, too, if she's a gym regular and is active, not too car-dependent.

Obviously everybody can agree that younger people (under 40) are going to be more attractive than older ones.
Not necessarily. Beautiful and older still usually beats young and unattractive.

Also doesn't mean you deserve it either. After all some women get older and don't have kids so there is no guarantee anyone will have kids.

Actually there are studies that state older sperm can be defective. There is a reason why nature doesn't like older people (this includes men)to reproduce, because the eggs and sperm are both old.

Unless you live under a totalitarian regime that controls reproduction of its citizens via mandated abortion, people are free to reproduce at any age they choose, provided they are biologically capable of doing so and have a willing partner. It doesn't really matter when you think they "should have" children.

Personally, I think it's irresponsible for people to have children after an age when they are significantly less likely to be around to help raise the child into adulthood (age 60 or so), but it doesn't really matter what I think, either. They still have the right to do so.

Men are usually able to reproduce at an older age than women. That may not be fair, but that's the biological reality. As long as they're able to, some are going to, same as some women would if the opposite were true.

Yes, that's how it worked for me also. Always went for the older guys (around 10 years older) - I think that is a good age gap. I like experienced men who are in great shape and have their sh** together and treat me like gold. My SO still thinks I'm this young, hot thing in my 40's... lol. It's all relative.

You haven't, but scientists who have studied this issue have. It was one of the big news items of last year. Some studies date back to the early 2000's:

Babies born to older men carry a higher risk of having genetic problems, says a study from the USA . A French study showed that male infertility shoots up after the age of 40. Not only does the lower quality of older men's sperm lower fertility, it also makes it more likely that babies with genetic abnormalities are born.
