Like if a woman is 30 she will go for a guy who is 40, but probably be disgusted by the thought of having sex with a 20 year old. What gives? A 30 year old man would have no problem having sex with someone 10 years younger.
Because WE (older) know how to get it done without all the drama and immaturity and can make them want more!

What women are you talking to???
Okay, women do not necessarily want to date an older man just because he is older. What they are looking for is maturity and other things that typically come with age.
As of right now, I am beating out some older men. There is at least one older woman (possibly 40s) who is interested in dating me and I'm not even 30. Meanwhile there is a man who is trying to compete with me in a rather childish way, and from what I hear, he gets really childish with her. Yet, with me, I'm mature with her and that is why she prefers me.

"how come" you won't learn the lessons some here have already tried to teach you regarding not generalizing about the opposite sex?
I'm 39 and if I were single...no way in heck I'd even consider dating a younger man (1-2 years possibly but not beyond that). It's just not my cup of tea. I like older men, always have.
I've aged past a man younger than myself, so it just wouldn't feel right. I rarely find younger men attractive or even turn my head for one. They just do nothing for me. Now, when I'm 60 or 70 maybe I'll think differently. Men in their mid-40's have always been the ideal for me.

Because I'm not about to write an introduction to every single one of my thread talking about how Iv noticed certain patterns in people's behavior. It's assumed these patterns are common enough that people notice.

I don't understand in school they taught us that women are programmed to mate with the best physical mates to create strong offspring. But you don't even turn your head you say. in what way are you attracted to men in their 40s? Physically? I though balding, wrinkles, and more body fat is unattractive.

you know what they say about people who make assumptions...

You're thinking a like a man thinks, women are slightly different in their perspective, sure they like the physically good looking men, but women are a bit more forgiving then men are in terms of looks.
When men are older they generally have their shyt together more, loosely speaking, they have other traits that are harder to quantify, but they are there none the less.

Most women in their 30's are looking for a serious relationship, not a fling. And they assume a 20-year-old would only be interested in them for a fling. They also want a mature guy, not a college student. They're at a very different stage in life than a college student. My observation is that they prefer someone close to their age, not someone 10 years older, let alone 10+ years younger.
