Even the prices, I guess.

I have a 2013 and it takes some kind of bougie oil.

Ah. Synthetic. There's your problem.

Mine is 1991. It likes oil made of dinosaurs and old plants. I do put high mileage dinosaurs in it though.

I wish I had never bought a new car. The sensors are always doing something weird, there are lights that flash and ding without reason, and it even had issues with the fuel change from winter to summer because of the computer.

I'd rather have an old beater and just fix it up than have a heart attack every time my dashboard lights up like the Vegas strip.

The shop I used to work a customer would change his oil every 1500 miles, yep, one thousand five hundred miles. I would drain the oil into clean containers and use it in my car.
I had a bit over 5,000 miles on that oil change. I have been running 5k between oil changes. I've started using mobile 1 in my toyota and in the pickup. I use rotella in my equipment. If I ever get a diesel anything I'll use rotella.

The Jeep hasn't let me down yet. Only cost me $1500 bucks. lol

Now before that, at the end of 2007, I had leased an '08 Charger. I had had **** boxes up until that point, so a dramatic change, to say the least. Great car. Had power, looks, safety.

I got bored. I wasn't allowed to wrench on it. Anything that needed to be done on it cost a fortune.

At the end of the lease I walked away from it, and bought my first Jeep. Another 91 YJ....for $1200. Gave me 3 years of faithful service, with no more than routine maintenance. Finally, the frame had just rotted out, and the clutch went. I still have it for parts, so I bought my new one. 91 YJ, for $1500.

No troubles yet.

PS....you guys change winter and summer blends down there??? I know it can get cold, but **** me if that doesn't sound like a gimmick. lol

Remember when my car had trouble starting? It was the fuel thing. It's fine now. They said it's common.

I love Jeeps. I should have just bought one of my dads, but noooooo. I wanted something cute and sporty. Oh well.

Well the wheels are almost turning and I will be glad when all of this mess is over.
My Husband took the driver I hired for orientation today and he has been cleared and will be put on the dispatch board on Monday.
Then after I get all the legal issues done he goes into the other truck and I am looking for a driver for the current truck.
Physical therapy is going slowly but going and my Husband sees the surgeon on Monday for his 2nd post operative check.
We find out then about ongoing Physical Therapy and how much longer we have to drive 100 miles round trip 3 days per week.
Until then I am looking forward to 4 days without seeing anyone who is in the medical field.

New cars are stupid. One time I got my Charger stuck in the snow. After going back and forth for a while, all of a sudden it lit up like a Christmas tree. To clear those lights...lol......I had toturn the wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, shut it off, turn the key from "acc" to "off" 3 times, and then it cleared.

So dumb.

Jeep: does what you want till you kill it. No questions asked.
