LOL.. it's funny because I just wasn't done cooking maturity wise to be able to move out at 18, wasn't even on my radar at that age.
Previous generations people were moved out, had kids, sometimes a couple of kids by the time they 19 or 20.....
Crazy stuff.... I know I wasn't ready for that level of responsibility at that age...heck, at 44 I'd question my ability to have the skills to raise kids....
^^^^^ Lol interesting
I lived in another state
entirely at 14....
I always say when
people ask about it-
childhood- what's that ?
I've always been independent &
especially at that age
way more mature than my peers
At 36 I realize I don't have the patience to be a parent.
I had this weird moment a few days ago, I had stopped into a starbucks and while I was standing in the line there was this older woman with her granddaughter, I'm assuming, standing behind me and I turn around and the little girl was like maybe 5 or so, she was looking in the food case there at the counter and she was looking at things, and I see her little head looking around, and the way that the grandmother was talking gently to her and she just looked so cute, I never saw her face but something about the little girl got me all choked up and I had a moment of wondering if I made a mistake not having kids, I get those thoughts about every 3 yrs or so.
After a couple of minutes, I, of course, realized that I did make the right choice for me.
It's just an odd thing how sometimes that feeling comes up. I think I was just moved by the inherent beauty of seeing the interaction between grandma and the sweetness of that little girl.
I had that thought once about 4 years ago. Then I realized it isn't for me.
Boy howdy the game is good. Mag, you really think that Chicago has it in them? An overtime game is the reason I love hockey. Overtime in game 7.... That's winning.
