I've been in a few short lived relationships at 28-29, I'm seeing somebody now at 30!

Mostly due to social awkwardness and never living anywhere longer than 3-5 months after the age of 17. Often moved from province to province, countries, and different states. It's not like I just moved to another town 20 mins away.

Things seem to be coming together now
though. .
Happy for you, this is great news!

I have tried the online dating thing and it's not really working for me.

Well, I'm coming out of a 20-year marriage, but I felt alone throughout most of it, so my answer would be, oh, about 18 years now.

Hope my "alone" status isn't forever, though...

I've always been single. I should probably start wearing the t-shirt:

7 months out of a 5 year relationship.

I still find myself turning down potential dates just based on no "moving on" yet from the last relationship. I need to deal with that first before opening up to someone new.

A few months, and plan to keep it that way. Way too traumatized by men right now. I hope my next encounter (when I'm ready), I'll meet a genuine and sincere person with a kind heart.

Never had a girlfriend. Wasn't interested in dating during my grade school years, they told me I'm to quiet for them during my middle school years, not thug enough and to corny for them my high school years, and now to straight forward, broke, and unattractive in my adult years. Isn't life grand?
