I came here after I had been living in our new area...I don't remember what I was looking for, but I posted in my local board for a while before finding this board.
Lol, it always sounds like everyone's downfall, when they found this forum.

Sounds good to me.

Sorry your plan didn't work out, though.

I've turned into a big ol wimp the last few yrs, I get teary eyed a little too easily, I think I've been emotionally repressed my whole life and now that's starting to fade away.

I don't care for it, to be honest....... feelings suck... LOL....

Kind of sad about that . Either its that I did not sell myself well or because nobody here supports rail development.

I used CD, because residents are eventually the people who will make use of such systems, and there is nothing better than an unbiased opinion from people living in specific areas where I wanted to introduce passenger rail.

Most avoid supporting it because their taxes will increase, but fail to see the savings in other avenues such as reduced cost of fuel and vehicle maintenance . There are also others who say that public transit operates at a loss and not for profit. Its the second argument that angers me the most. Public Infrastructure, no matter how successful, IS NOT DESIGNED "FOR PROFIT". They are an INVESTMENT in the future.

Local news channels were doing the forum thing a few years back. There were a few bullies on one I was on regularly, well they got p****d off at the moderators and mentioned going to CD. I decided to check it out myself and really didn't buy into it a first, but as they say the rest is history.

No kidding! Even in some of the other forums. I got so fed up in the fashion forum not too long ago. The men there seem to rip women apart almost daily. Someone posted a thread about men's flaws, and I went on there and listed everything I could think of that could be perceived as a flaw...lol
