I am not a big sauce girl and Mr. CSD tells me and anyone who will listen that it is not completely true.
He says that I am "saucy" but don't like a lot sauce on my pasta....
I'm not sure if that is a compliment or not...LOL
I'm not into tomato sauces so much. I like lemony or cream-based sauces (lol, not doing this on purpose) more. Or just olive oil, fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, etc.
Chow says, with my mindset when I first met him, that he needed a whip and a chair to handle me. Does that fall under "saucy"? I'm just like a kitten now.

That does sound good.
I do make a pretty good sauce. Slow cooking it is the trick.
We make our own sauce, over a weekend - a years supply. I need to pick some of that up next time I'm home.
I'm all for that.
I always plan to do that, a big supply, but I never seem to get around to it, lol.

I'm pretty sure you adapted to the less saucy version for my sake.
I have yet to make a good sauce homemade but Artemis gave a recipe but I haven't tried it yet.
I need to get supper started soon, I am having.......pasta but I haven't decided if it is going to be buttered noodles, macaroni and cheese or a red sauce (prego) without meat.
Mac and cheese sounds good.... along with the buttered noodles and the red sauce sounds good too.....
Gotta do it arrabbiata style with the chili flakes.. that kicks it up a notch... LOL
Okay, I just went completely the opposite direction for supper. I just put in a mini frozen pizza, took the hamburger out of the freezer so tomorrow I will make chili, the next day I will make spaghetti and the day after that I will mix them together.

Another version that I forgot! Just butter and parm.

Not a big fan of pesto but my sauce preference is definitely alfredo or bechemel over the red sauce.
Not a big cheese fan either overall, it tends to get a wee bit salty for me when melted but there are certain types of cheese I will eat without hesitation and I cannot stand any type of mushroom.
I will purchase them fresh and slice them up and put them on the table and Mr. CSD can add them to whatever he wants but they do not enter any food that I am cooking during the cooking process.
