12, but he was "two-timing" me with one of my friends. Although when we were in 2nd grade (so 8), we were going to "get married" in a huge ceremony at recess with our classmates as orchestrated by the recess monitor until the principal found out and put a stop to it. I remember he was sitting on the bleachers because he was in recess "time out" and that was the "time out" spot when he proposed. Ah, young love. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't moved our freshman year...

My first relationship lasted about a year (I was 16 when we broke up) which was FOREVER back in high school
Well, in this case, he started "wooing" me right before my 18th birthday and we became "official" on my birthday. Lasted for 2 months before he dumped me because the girl he'd been in love with since kindergarten showed him some interest. Fast forward to now, I'm widowed. He got married not long after high school and just got engaged for at least the 4th time that I know of to a woman who will be at least wife #3. Engagement #3 didn't make it to the alter.
My only long-term relationship was with late hubby. We met about 3 weeks before I turned 26, were together for 8 years before he died.
When I was 24, I met a guy who really liked me and he seemed nice, so we dated for about 3-4 months. It was not serious to me, but we considered ourselves boyfriend/girlfriend. He's in prison now so it's a good thing that our relationship didn't work out.
Not quite thirteen. It was the most complicated two and a half weeks of my proto-adolescent life and I felt a great weight lift from my shoulders when she found someone who was only too happy to try for a clumsy snog behind the bike shed.
Our brief, misbegotten coupling wasn’t even my idea. She hung around me from the moment I joined the chess club and shamed me into ‘asking her out’ (whatever that means at such an age) in front of witnesses.
well, I got my first kiss when I was like in 3rd grade by a girl named Debbie or Debra. However, I think my first "serious" relationship was in my early 20's. I was out of high school and I could do more than just kissing and holding hands haha
13. Met a girl in weekly religious ed (every wednesday night, CCD). Made her laugh a lot by being silly, acting like a total fool. Asked her out a couple months later. Dated for almost a year. No sex, nothing more than some french kissing (does that term still get used?). Then she broke up with me to date someone else. A couple months later, she broke up with him and wanted to come back to me but I said no, I wasn't going to be anyone's backup even though I still liked her. Regretted that, admired her from afar for the rest of high school. Reconnected, just as friends, in my senior year of high school.
