For some it is creepy, for others it isn't. If you date someone who's much younger or older than you, you have to be prepared that some people will judge you. Personally, I don't find it creepy, but I would wonder if the girl has daddy issues, or if you have an obsession with youth. Not trying to be offensive, just saying what I would think if I saw a 40 years old with a 25 years old.
I agree. I don't personally find it creepy either, but terms of the bolded part I think if you asked 10 people I'd say a majority would probably have those or similar thoughts cross their minds.
I am 46...I don't like younger women and probably wouldn't go over 50 for dating/relationships
When I was 25, I loved older women and had bedded quite a few 35 to 48 year olds...I was very into a 46 year old and was bummed when she dumped me...she told me she was head over heels in luv but couldn't imagine marrying someone that much younger than her...she wanted to be married so she had to move on...she was gorgeous, a nympho, retired and financially secure...she wasn't the love of my life, but a close second...wish I would have met her now..lol...although sexually I would be NO match for her now...she almost killed me then, at 25...lol
In general though 10-15 years is pretty safe for not looking to extreme.
If a man is 40+ then 20 years is manageable and ok.
If a guy is 60 and dating a woman under 40 then something is up. She is using him for his money most likely.
One thing to remember is women hit the wall before men usually. A woman will lose her sex appeal (not desire) usually after 45. I dont even recall messaging a woman over the age of 45, or lets just say in her 50's.
As a man you want to maximize how much prime years you get with your spouse. In which case if you get married at 30 then 10 years would be optimal. At 40, 15-20 years would be optimal. More than that and it is gonna be looked at badly by a large number of people.
Do you really spend time thinking about and judging the relationships of strangers?

I don't get it. If none of us are to think about or "judge" (i.e. have an opinion about) relationships or anything else, then what are any of us doing here on CD? In fact, what's the purpose of any online forum? Some of us think expressing one's opinions and hearing those of others is a good thing.

*yawn*
The typical assertion of (delusional) men. Every other week, a guy makes this claim (very occasionally, a woman does, but one can bet it's because she's not aging well). And every time, I ask -- but not ONE poster has yet told me -- where I can find all these attractive, fit, youthful look men over the age of 45 or 50. There should be no shortage of them, apparently, but, for some reason, I'm NOT seeing them.

it's delusional nonsense
Men think they will all look like Hugh Jackman, Rick Grimes or Dwayne Johnson at 43. In reality, they'll look closer to Jason Alexander
