I find it funny/odd that I hate sweet flavored coffee, but I love coffee flavored sweets.

Speaking of sweets. There is a gastropub place just up the street from my work...I don't really care about the proper food there, though it's probably good. Their dessert menu is where it's at.

S'Mores Cannoli
- Italian pastry/ milk chocolate/
marshmallow creme/ graham crackers
Orange Drop Doughnuts
- Nutella/ bourbon vanilla ice cream/
candied orange
Cast Iron Snickerdoodle
- Baked-to-order cinnamon sugar cookie/
bourbon vanilla ice cream/ dulce de leche
Strawberry Trifle
- Basil mousse/ sponge cake/ strawberry
compote/ honeycomb brittle

The strawberry trifle is a new addition, I need to get my arse over there and try it...

You had me at coffee. I have a routine for coffee. French press, electric kettle and burr mill.

Start heating the water in the kettle. Then, I add two or three scoops of whole bean coffee to the mill. Start grinding in to brewing amount.

Add coffee to the press. The add boiling water to press. Steep for four minutes. After four minutes drop the plunger on the press and have coffee to get me through the morning. Usually I fill my insulated mug first. Then pour a cup for right now. That is contingent on what I’m doing.
