Why are you complaining? Are you not interested in her? Maybe she is a little too eager but most guys would be happy to see that type of attention. Heck we have a lot of threads wondering why their date doesn't follow up or waits days to respond to texts.
Planning the next date or even the next two dates doesn't equate to a commitment.
PS> I don't take dating or relationship advice from a movie... I don't recommend anyone else doing the same.
This!!!!!
Some people seem to be never happy, no matter what....No wonder so many have hard time dating.
So, wait and see. Way too early for diagnosis...
I personally think that is why too much, all the texting and all the planning right away. Would send me running for the hills. Sure she likes you, but where is the fire?

Complete diagnosis? Too early. Educated guess based on evidence? Fair game and mine is this girl has stage 5 clinger tendencies.

Just getting some thoughts since this has never happened to me before. I went on a first date last night that went very well. We made out at the end, but didn't have sex. There was no extra communication that night after we said goodbye, but today she texted me 8 times and is already planning our next two dates.
I told her I'm pretty busy for the holidays but might be free for one of the dates.
Anyone had this happen? Is she really expecting instant commitment already lol?
Maybe she just likes you. Quit overthinking things. It's just too early to tell.
People on this forum want a relationship, but then freak out when one falls into their laps.
I am assuming those 8 texts are not apart of a conversation, you didn't respond to them?
DH's friend sends like 5 short texts instead of one long one, it's irritating, but I think that is a limitation of some phones (length of text), so it breaks them up into a multi-text.
If you feel she is a creeper, don't go out with her again.

Did she send 8 texts in a row without you answering?
Or does she have the kind of cell phone that breaks up one text into multiple texts? I have a friend who has an LG phone and I have an Android. Whenever she texts me a message that's more than 5 words, it gets broken up into multiple texts. My friends with iPhones have a similar thing where their texts come through with broken up sentences not always in order because for some reason iPhone texts come to Android phones differently.
So OP, please clarify, first of all if you were replying to her texts and having a conversation or not and secondly if you're sure that it was 8 texts or if it was just that he has a different phone than yours and it broke up a single text or 2 into multiple texts like so often is the case?
I think many more people would be in great relationships if they did not judge potential partners by what they do in the first 24 hours and, if it is at any point divergent from their norm (or what strangers tell them on an internet forum), they drop them like a live grenade.
What ever happened to getting to actually know people? Communicating?
NOTHING you wrote shows the wants a commitment. Why do you say that?
