Well, that's the polite dealbreaker that you cannot change, so it's a convenient excuse.

All I'm saying is there may be other factors working against you besides the "no kids" thing because there are more women these days who call themselves child free.

I'm in my 30s just like you. You'll find someone.

Maybe you have to look for women who are a little older than you are, because they're more likely to be at the same stage of life, with older kids leaving the nest or who never wanted kids in the first place. If you're looking to date a 25 year old, they might be weirded out that your children are close to their own age, and they might want to settle down and start a family in the future. YOu've ruled that out.

Agree. Date alittle older than your age, late 30s, should be good to go.

I spent 19 years taking care of and raising two boys and i am sort of over that at this point, just over a year ago i got a vasectomy .

I don't want to end up alone for the rest of my life but i haven't dated in a nearly a decade so i could use some advice.
How would you best bring up the point of not wanting kids
Stick to your guns about not wanting children. If she does not respond due to that, then you are better off without her.

This. Keep looking. It sounds like you've only started dating, OP. It'll take time to meet women who don't want kids (they're out there, though), and when you do find some, they probably won't be appealing to you for other reasons. Not your type, or whatever. Still, there are definitely women out there in your general age range (include slightly older women in your range, to expand your pool), who don't want kids. They're looking for guys like you, trust us.

In addition to however youre meeting these women, you might want to try online dating sites. You can narrow down the search to women that dont want kids.

I dont have any kids, but I dont want any so I sort of feel your pain..
