Good for you, for giving it one more shot! I hope things have changed to where you and your partner can communicate together now.
That is so important in a relationship. I wish you luck!

Wow! That's some of the wisest, HAPPIEST advice I've seen in a long time!

Yes, make it new. Which means make yourself new. You're not happy as you are right now, so it's time to make yourself new.

It's your life, right? So you get to choose how you will feel. You get to choose HOW you will feel, think, speak and do. All of it is your own choice. I wish you choices that make your heart sing!!

OK, now I'm feeling bad for saying way back in the second post in this thread that your intuition might be right. I think I was mad at hubby or something. All these things that people have said about starting over as if it's brand new are making me think they're right. And I do sincerely hope you're able to make your marriage wonderful . Sorry if I sounded harsh before -- that's normally not like me. [Hubby was an hour late getting back from doing something and we ended up going to the 4th of July parade without him - I was disgusted with him .]

Intuition is often the best guide, even if it's the harder choice.

I think I wrote it more harshly than I meant to. I still feel like her intuition might be right, but I didn't mean to sound harsh to somebody who's just made such a big decision with her life. Or maybe I'm worrying too much! But, in any case, thanks Phil .

Thanks Chow! I was pretty amused when I first saw one and a birding expert told me its name was Dickcissel. Just for your ornithological edification, here's what a Dickcissel looks like:

OT - You'd come up with a Yellow-rumped Boycatcher or a Great Cocked Bush-Eater?
