My wife's butt played a very important piece in our dating. Besides having a great personality she had a KILLER butt with it.
My ex had a big butt also so I guess that makes me an assman.

P.S. Maybe I should dump Mr.Cat and get Assman instead.

lol....well congratulations assman

on a less shallow note I kid

He was a shy guy.....very humble and quiet but very confident....the kind of guy that when he spoke you listened because it was always important....(this was a huge change from the HS boys I was dating at the time)....although, i'm thinking that the quiet thing was just around me because now I can't get him to stop talking..

Did I mention he's hot?

Mine was his personality - he was very "driven". He was confident, knew what he wanted to achieve and how to get there. He has a powerful personality, which to me is even more attractive than a guy in uniform!

I think all around - past and present - I look for a strong man, which may or may not be physical strength. A strong mind, passion, etc.

Until I was 26, I dated really artsy women. You know the neurotic type. Always wearing black turtlenecks and discussing Sylvia Plath nonstop. And yet, I just really didn't enjoy any of my relationships over the long haul. They were always too much work.

So, methodical me, I sat down and listed all the common traits in my major relationships, and decided to start dating the complete opposite. My wife is funny, colorful, exuberant, and makes friends easily. She is self-aware, but not to the point of being crippled by it. So, yeah, dating against type really was the key for me.

When I was younger I was quite looks driven, and money driven. I cringe to look back on it, but I dated a lot of wealthy men, and a lot of good looking and some wealthy AND good looking men. Lol. Got bored with them all in about 2 seconds, but it was fun at the time.

As I got older, I realized that personality trumps both looks and money.

I was attracted to my husband by his sense of humor and confidence. I also think that he is great looking! So I actually ended up with it all apart from the money part. We have been building that part up between us as a team. So much more satisfying that way.

Oh, good. If our spouses get hit by buses, we can console one another. Unless you own three or more cats. Big warning flag, there.
