I'm talking about really prudish people. There are a couple of fairly regular posters here that no matter what the subject is they have to find something in it to be offended by. I'm not naming any names though.
It's weird, but I saw one of their names light up in Broadway lights in my minds eye. SooOOoo weird!

Ah, who cares, it's 10 days til Christmas! Woot!

Some of you may know my sweet little neighbor died last week...she was 94 and I would take her to Woman's Club every now and then, check up on her, etc. but we were never extremely close.

Well, once I was admiring this amazing bracelet she had on because it was SO different and I told her it was beautiful and told me the story behind it...not something I would wear, but just awe struck by its detail and craftsmanship.

My neighbors son came by at lunch time and had a small box...he said his mother wanted me to have the contents...it was the bracelet and also matching necklace and earrings!

Isn't that sweet?? I will wear it to her funeral tomorrow...

The funeral was at 9a.m. thos morning and I wore the jewelry she left me and felt like a little queen walking in...her father had the set made for her when she won some top award in the horse jumping circuit when she was a teenager.

Man the weather here is crappy for So Cal. It's around 4 PM (west coast) and it is cold and rainy blah. It's down to 47 degs. I can't remember the last time in So Cal where is was below 50 in the daytime

Yeah I know, people back east have it way worse, we are just spoiled out here.

I know, Chow. I feel your pain. It was under 60 here, too, for a few days.
