Slang. Typically heard in Boston. It is not just making a left turn, it is to make a left as soon as the light goes green and before the oncoming traffic has a chance to react to the light changing to green. If you ever find yourself driving in Boston it has almost become customary for you to allow the first car in the turn lane to “bang a left” in front of you before you pull forward from the light.
This is disgusting! I just witnessed this some time ago here and even posted on our forum as the same idiot tried killing me first before doing that. The car had CA plates. Not that it couldn't have been a rental, but chances are pretty good it WAS from CA. This kind of crap is typically done here by the ones who are about to turn right while you're already proceeding on your green, but that's standard everywhere...
Dude you are incredibly prude because most people I know rip ones so loud you can see the vibration waves in the air ....... and all people I know are very cool and accepting with that...
