How many people here use CD as a distraction? I've got work to do this morning and I can't make myself start doing it. I usually hate to work weekends anyway.

So how many hours a week to you "rob" from your employer.

LOL, same here. BUT... I'm starting right after finishing my coffee and smoke! Enough threads already attempted to depress me on a Sat morning, but I'm getting my butt up. I'll be working outside and enjoying the Sun and not writing on the said threads! That's it! Will visit on breaks only and strictly for fun - no heavy topics.

In the office I mostly deprive myself of peace and energy as I have to squeeze work under more pressure and more quickly in order to yap endlessly... The grasp on my throat there is getting tighter by the day, though, so that might change.

I have to say last night I sat in my new chair right after coming back home and didn't head upstairs to the computer. It felt so GOOD and relaxing - like after taking a bath or being in a pool! My priorities definitely need adjusting!

I don't do C-D at work. I have too much to do.

But if and when I don't feel like doing anything, this is what I do. My house is a mess and I don't want to clean it right now. If it weren't raining, I'd be outside working in my garden.

Why dont employers put a lock on thier systems to only go to approved sites?
It totally would be the first thing I would do as effec. manager at an office.

Bare bones OS for networking and select site approval.

Many companies are starting to install firewalls that do that, as well as monitor traffic. I've been seeing emails at work asking people to stop streaming media as it is a bandwidth hog.

I have to do research on a wide variety of topics at my job. There's no way they could figure out what to block and not block. Once in a great while I even need to go to City-Data to glean info on various locations. Imagine that.

Besides, at my place of employment, we're grown ups and they treat us like we are.
