Maybe the room should have been deodorized since it was reportedly non-smoking, but that wasn't the point of the letter. If it brought the person comfort to deal with the passing of a friend, focus on that. "Abby" needs to be more sensitive sometimes.

Agreed, I thought it was insensitive of "Abby" not to just leave her response be after the first sentence...
