Ok, I saw this thread and I thought I should stay out of it, but I found it too fascinating to resist.
To answer the original poster's question as to weather kinkiness would be a deal breaker, no, it would not. In fact, it would be welcome....
Ok, the definition of kinky is highly subjective. What is viewed as plain vanilla by one person could be considered borderline perversion by another. Sadly, it is nearly impossible to tell where a person stands on these matters just by looking at them. As such, it is better for all concerned to make these determinations early.
As for me personally, plain vanilla is just plain boring.....
Let me explain why. When a guy is in his teens, just being physically close to a young woman is enough to cause an amorous effect in him, frequently just holding a girl's hand will cause a young man to get an erection. However, as a guy gets older and more experienced, it takes more stimulation to build the same level of excitement. An earlier poster likened "kink" to a sex addiction. I think this is incorrect, but I will allow that sex is like a drug in the sense that in the initial stages of experimentation with it, only a small dose is required to illicit a high. With more frequent exposure, a higher dose is required. Also, like some types of drugs, continuous usage of one type builds a resistance to it's effects making a rotation of different drugs necessary.
What I am getting at is that excitement, anticipation, and then just pure, blind, overwhelming lust is the sexual high. When we get older, it takes more to get there......
To me, what we are calling kink, is a lot of fun. There are limits of course to what a person is going to be comfortable with and these are going to vary from person to person. For me, I would have to draw the line at anything involving excrement, animals, other men, or illegal activities. Other than that, as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, party on....
i'll put it this way, my wife and i have done some things that would make a porn star blush. not all the time, nor even every time, but we throw some kink in often enough to keep things fresh and interesting. and if we are drinking, well there is no telling how kinky it will get.
Most women don't. Most men push it on us.. I don't get why they would want feces on their you know what, because that is what is in that hole, lol. I know its tighter, but its still an exit only!

I didn't mean Kinky pleasures was an addiction.. I meant that, what you refer to "like a drug", some cannot "get pleasure" without a continual increase in their own kinky fantasys/pleasures... no consideration for their partner just their own gratifications... those who cannot stop and it can ruin a relationship I've seen it happen to my friend.. I have my own pleasures trust me but yes I have my limits like most of us have stated but they must be agreed upon ahead of time with your partner....
Or does it depend on the kind? Provided you're not kinky yourself, of course... Or even if you are, your preferences just don't coincide, let's say.
I happened to meet somebody I had a reasonable interest in - good-looking, smart, funny, stable job and all that. However, it turned out he's seriously into S & M. I mean, not the mild stuff... the whole nine yards... I've never come across this for real. Would anybody consider accommodating them? I wouldn't.
