I travel a fair amount so whatever city I plan to visit. Otherwise Business, Investing, Sports, General Moving, TV, Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston, Oklahoma.
I found this forum because I wanted to talk with people in my home town, Pittsburgh. It's funny, but it was months before I even scrolled down below the states and found the General, didn't even know it was there. This forum, relationships, seems to get the most play which is fun and makes sense, but I also post on Entertainment, I was on the Politics/Elections up until November 4th, and I post on Sports sometimes, mostly football...
But I'll tell you what I found out, that when something comes up in your life, something as trivial as finding a nest of black widows outside your front door or something as urgent as the serious illness of a loved one, there are people on this forum who can and will help! It's nice, there are generous people here.
Houston-I'm good at selling the city to outsiders
Chicago-I'm from there and give less yuppieish answers (and I make up words like "yuppieish")
Chicago Suburbs-I tell the truth about issues that people gloss over or don't like to discuss such as latent racism and segregation that still exists
Texas-I try to convince anyone considering a move to McAllen not to move to McAllen.
Politics and Other Controversies-I like debating with the Neocons and Texas Republicans
Immigration-I enjoy debating with those that are actually against illegal immigration as opposed to those that are blatantly racist towards Mexicans
Relationships-I make dumb random posts that either get me 6 reps at a time or are completely ignored.
i like most of the posters here in relationships. does that make a home?
i have posted mostly in the LA forum. because i live in LA. is that my home?
i constantly get into it with the immig folks. we fight like cats and dogs. thats a bit like home.
but i usually start my day in politics. then over to immig. spend too much time in relationships. visit gardening, parenting, food, fashion. and eventually end up in LA.
i guess im just your regualr [virtual]couch surfer.
