Things are crazy like that!

I usually make it my business to know exactly what I am after, and to have the only time I need help be when I need an employees help getting the product I am after (in the back, locked up, etc.)

I try my best to shop online. One store I hate the most is Best Buy because I can never avoid that douche in the front just waiting to say hello to me. Then as I make my way to what I need the swarm on me like f'ing locus

They also do this if you look like you are stealing and are also required by corp to do this. Be sane about it for god's sake.

Once, when a cashier asked me that question, I answered her by saying 'terrible'
She simply said: 'oh..okay, well..thankyou for shoppping with us'

She wasn't quite prepared to hear anything but the usual 'fine, thankyou"

Try it sometime, it's kind of funny.

I had a clerk one time ask me how I was and I asked if she had 20 yrs?

Then I've had clerks say absolutely nothing other than what I owed.

Sometimes when they ask me how I am etc I just ignore them.

Yanno...it's just their job. I just smile back at'em and say hello. The locusts must be all your way. They don't swarm here.
