Typing in a blackberry can burn one's lunch

OK, I never played with Google Maps much before, but I just got a real fright.

Switched to "satellite" view, zoomed in on my address, the darn thing actually showed a perfect shot of the front and sides of my house, including looking through the windows and seeing the stuff inside!!!

Yeah, they dispatch these vans to every corner of the earth to take pictures and transmit it back.

I wonder how government is batting an eyelid at these intruders

There was news from Britain recently that the castle and huge mansion owners drove the google camera vans away from taking pictures.

That shows how technologically-challenged I am - I thought they were just low-angle satellite shots.

Heck, if I had known when they were coming, I would have hung a huge sign in the window - like

"MARS NEEDS WOMEN!!!"

or

"GOOGLE BITES!!!"

Or if it were a camerawoman:

"FLASH AND YOU'RE ALLOWED TO TAKE ONE PICTURE"

I guess that would be one form of immortality - having one's bum forever pictured on Google Maps.

I love those darn google images. I googled the park I hang out at and then zoomed in and there is every single tree and even the "No swimming" signs. I could view it from every angle as well. So I went out into some other places, and it captures everything. Just wonderful.

I've seen more action in a morgue.

The forum sure seemed dead tonight.

Coulda woulda shoulda.
I have a million PC UPSs at work. I could mail you one and all you'd have to do is go to a Battery Plus and have them put a new battery in and you'd have a $100 UPS for about $15.
