You have always heard about the "crazy cat lady"...Are there not men who have multiple cats out there too? People kind of like to stereotype cat owners or lovers of cats. They are such fascinating creatures, no wonder. Men with cats kind of draw me in...nothing against dog lovers, I like dogs but mostly small ones like Chihuahuas and Pugs. I met a nice guy on the Internet last year who lived in a Mother in law suite with four fluffy cats, my platonic friends usually have 2 or more cats or animals in general, my finace has 6 cats that includes the one cat I gave away to him (before we got serious) because a lady at my apartment complex complained that the cat was getting out (under the fence) and warned me that someone might pick him up and take him to the vet to be destroyed (a fate I would never want...)
Does anybody feel like "cat people" are weird? Would you date a "cat person" by that I mean you have more than one cat, you dote on them like your children,etc...

I like cats ok, but the bolded part, no. I am an animal lover, but I know the difference in animals and children. It annoys me to be around people that dont know the difference.

As long as they clean up. I think its cute when people dote on the animals unless they are that weirdo that treats people like crap and then worships the cat. Thats a little mental.

I've never met a man with multiple cats. I tolerate cats OK but I'm not a big fan. I have dogs, and I've found that most men like the fact that I have dogs.

I had two female friends who were cat fanciers and, well, they took it overboard. One had 15 and the other had four (at last count). And, yeah, they did dote on them like children. I found it odd that, when they came to visit at my house, they had a problem with my dogs coming to greet them but when I went to their homes, I had to put up with the cats ON THE TABLE eating meals with us. That just grossed me out.

I'm the owner of two of the cutest daggone kitties ever. Most men I have dated liked them. Luckily, my husband, a dog owner, fell in love with them after one curled up on his chest and fell asleep one day.

Awwww. And I dote on them like kids and celebrate their lil birfday. Thems my babies!

One ortwo cats is OK. More than that grosses me out. Thinking of them walking around counter tops and other areas with that little littery poopy paws kind of grosses me out.

Thankfully my cat is fat and old and can't jump up everywhere.
