I wasn't correcting or attacking her. Just an observation about certain pursuits in life that are, in my opinion, wasteful and futile, even if "genteel". Every one of us should try to be a good person, and a good partner -- but dedicating one's life to sorting out someone's emotional baggage and disillusionment with life is a pointless enterprise, guaranteed to make one unhappy and drained. I think it's true for both men and women. What man would get angry at the proposition that he shouldn't dedicate himself to changing the worldview of a woman who claims to be disillusioned with men?

You also misunderstand me when you suggest that I am being rude. At most, I am being wistful. I try to take a detached and philosophical approach to life. It is my observation that human nature tends to dwell on the bad and take the good for granted, and that goes double for people who are holding a general grudge. They'll remember all the negative and ignore all the positive; tiptoeing around them is as tiring as it is fruitless. Ultimately, it's up to them to purge their own demons. No one else can do it for them, no matter how warm and fuzzy; not the least because misery is addictive.

Agree. Everyone, man or woman, owes it to themselves to find someone they are compatible with, and should not date someone because they think they can or need to fix or cure someone.

beauty
charm
femininity
soft skin
gentle limbs, lithe fingers and hands
hair: soft to the touch, fun to caress
pretty voices
humor
wit
intellect
wisdom
their soft embrace
the warmth of their chests when we hug tightly, a warm that symbolizes our intimacy
the taste of their lips (every woman "tastes" different, but I have never "tasted" a foul-flavored woman when kissing... ladies, drink white wine when with your men - it'll make you extremely sweet when kissing. This is not a joke and it's not said in sarcasm.)

Is this list long enough?

I don't think I've heard the word "lithe" since the Seinfeld era.

The world would truly be much worse without women.

I just love the way they think so much differently than men.

I love the way they smile when you give them a compliment.

I love the way they think we can tell the difference in the 37 different
shades of red lipstick they own.

I love the way they get all excited and/or disappointed with their favorite TV shows.

I love when music moves them so much they get up and dance; I love watching them dance or sing when they think nobody is watching.

I love the way they think chocolate should be it's own food group.

I love the way they moan a little bit, and how they stretch, when they are waking up.

I love the way they adore their daddys and emulate their mothers.

I love when they are playing with the boys, and skin their knee, and they work up all their courage to not cry.

I love when they cry because they are just so happy.

I love how they try to throw a spiral with a football.

I love their empathy.

I love how much they love Christmas.

I love how they mother everything.

I love how they know no technical names of any parts of a computer or car.

I love how they give driving directions, describing things you will see along the way.

I love how they are not judgmental, and will be there to lend a shoulder when you need it to cry on.

I love watching a woman get ready for the day.

I love watching a woman let loose and not be afraid to laugh and be silly.

I love watching a woman play with the neighborhood kids, or kids' friends.

I love watching a woman walk her dog.

I love how they let you know what they are feeling.

I love how they claim they can smell their So's shirts when they aren't
wearing them, and they smell good.

I love how cooking isn't cooking, unless she shares what she makes with others.

I love how they offer you their 2nd half of a sandwich, everytime.

I love how they always get the lyrics wrong to their favorite songs; I love
how they don't know the names of their favorite songs.

I love helping my neighbors carry heavy things to their front door, and how they think I'm some kind of saint for doing the simplest thing.

I love when they ask all sorts of questions when watching sports with you.

I love when they want to play a video game with you.

I love when a woman swims and isn't afraid to get her hair wet and wash her makeup off.

I love when they are argue politics from an emotional viewpoint.

I love the combination of confidence and humility.

I love how they want to cuddle to feel safe.

I love how every aspect of them is so soft.

I love hearing them laugh.

I love watching them talk with their hands.

I love watching them sweat, and the way it makes them smell.

I love how they look at nature.

I love when they are confident in their skin and head.

I love their green thumbs.

I love how skirts make the muscles in their legs look.

I love how they glow when they feel sexy and desired.

I love how they command respect.

I love when they are as free as birds.

Things I love about women:
Genuine smiles, when they're happy to see you or have been given a compliment, or just because.
Their curves.. I love it when a girl gets close. it seems that the area just above their hips was MADE as a handrest.
When they use me as a pillow, I always find that particularly cute
Really wierd, but their hair. I love brunettes and raven-haired women; I especially love it when they take good care of their hair. the way it feels and smells.. don't ask why
