Is it really religion’s job to deny the existence of anything that is not in their scriptures.
In my experience there is sheer bigotry from many that think themselves religious.
An example I will give is when in conversation, the possibility of Extraterrestrial life came up. The belligerent response was “should you be worshipping these”, I was not.
This is just sheer arrogance on the part of the religious, to believe we humans with all our flaws are the only intelligent life forms that could have evolved anywhere, but there is another subject that is denied.
I find it a total waste of time entering into conversation with persons that have closed minds.
Do you ever ask yourselves, “What if I have been wrong in my belief“?
Remember the Dinosaurs, their existence was denied for a long, long time.
We are not in the dark ages anymore, some of us have been educated, denial is an insult.

I guess I think because the same old arguments and questions keep coming up it seems like to the point where its beating a dead horse.
I agree to disagree with religious folk I begin to argue and ridicule the other side though when my views are mocked and condescended :P

They are actually mostly describing themselves...but they would never admit it.

The OP expressed their opinion, only to receive your visceral attack, yet I'm sure you use your beliefs to justify, and don't recognize the fact your represent the very attributes you attack.

That is not true. I don't bash others' views...I illuminate the bashing of others beliefs, and what they believe in. The vibe of the OP was rude, mean, and nothing but smack-talk. But then, you wouldn't see that, because you are the same way. MOF, the deluge of bitter spew issued from Atheists toward Believers, and their Deities and theology, is well noted by many (even by the most polite and classy) on this forum.
My moniker is accurate...I point out meanspirited insults...as I would want others to point out when I mess up. MOF, that just happened the other day...AND, I acknowledged it and apologized for it. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. I was wrong...and appreciated the critique of my conduct... and the guidance to help me improve myself. I do realize some are soooooo biased and intolerant...they refuse to listen, or accept correction...and just like you did, take exception to anyone making note of it.
I have only one prejudice and bias...against prejudice and bias.
