lol.

When you first get baptized into the Holy Spirit
, the Holy Spirit inspires you on a deep level. It is the first deity I absorbed.
When you take in and follow the spirit,
follow the incredible source of love and friendship,
you become at one with inspiration itself.
Be at one with the deity of the animal,
it is very supernatural.
Be inspired by the Spirit and absorb inspiration itself.
Be at one with the idea.
I am a Raven.

Let's not make this a religious debate.

Ptsum, he gave his input. I think that anyone can experience nature in a spiritual way. We all interpret it differently, I would love to hear what your people believe about this topic. I have tried looking it up online and I don't know what sources to trust, I know I could trust your input.

I was referring to a scene in "Highlander" where Connor felt at one with an antelope. THat scene depicted very much what it feels like to have a totem animal imo. THat movie is gtg. Good soundtrack.

I do not pretend to speak for ptsum. With that said, I don't think you will find very much meaningful information in such a public forum as this. For very many reasons, these and other deeply spiritual matters are almost always discussed face-to-face, either one-to-one or in small groups.

Regards,

Thank you brother, I have informed him in other ways exactly what you had said here and that he needs to get in touch with someone closer to him, if he is seriously looking to learn about such things and I also let him know that it's a very long process should he decide to go that path.

When speaking of spiritual matters, it is often difficult to express oneself. Those faiths that are based (often) on a book of scripture of one sort or another (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Scientology, Mormonism, Teachings of Don Juan, Baha'i, etc) tend to create a "one size fits all" religion. Most preach/teach obedience.......when to kneel, when to bow, when to pray, when to attend, when to fellowship.......Often, these days they even try to teach how to vote.

But when you talk about true spirituality, you can only talk about peripheral things. Talk about what the creator has taught you and you aren't understood....or people try to ritualize or codify it. And the message gets lost and misunderstood.....it can only be shared one on one.....often not even then.

I think ptsums effort was to try to prevent misinformation from being spread. the little hammer was trying to share his experience in the context of a comfortable faith and ritual. That is not real compatible, in my mind. What the OP wants is only available when he seeks one to teach him, person to person. It cannot be shared with writings.

I was baptized into the Holy spirit and experienced a totem animal. THe Raven. Jesus was baptized into the Holy spirit and experienced the same thing with the Dove. A totem animal is the spirit calling out to you to take you into the spiritul realm where you learn to absorb the deity. You are to absorb the spirit of the animal and be at one with it. It is a very supernatural occurance. Later, the spirit will call to you with other spirits to encounter, the big cat, the Dragon, or whatever else... You can call apon the spirit of Jesus and you can absorb the deity with him in all kinds of different ways. In his death, in his meditation, in his crying etc.....You can pray to Buddha for compassion and recieve it through the spiritual realm. Someone experiencing a totem animal is a sign of the Spirit calling to you to take you into the spirit world. You are on your way. Run with the wolf, and be at one with the spirit.

I agree, and well said. I am Christian, and I find that the rituals and writings can too easily obscure the spirituality if the focus begins to fall on them instead.

OP, I found your post and experience interesting, and I wish you a good journey as you seek this path further.
