This IS a "Christian Nation"...because IT IS a "Christian Nation".
If it was something else...then THAT is what it would be.
IT IS what IT IS...and THAT is REALITY.
It IS a nation with a population that is majority Christian.
It is NOT a nation based or founded upon The Bible, Christianity or "Judeo-Christian" values (whatever those are.. slavery and intolerance perhaps).

THAT is reality.

What say you?
The American nation should be purged all of Satan's influences and all his followers put in jail.

Keep trying. None of what you list above are Christian principles.

True, some Christians may hold those principles in high regard, but they certainly did not originate with Christianity - if anything they are humanist.

Can our prisons hold that many more Christians?
They're full of them now.

Let me help the OP out: Christian nation vs Non-Christian nation.
The principles of liberty and freedom did not originate from Christianity in any way. Those are western principles derived from ancient Roman laws. Freedom, individual sovereignty, civil society, etc. All that is Roman. You know what Christianity's contribution to that was? The Feudal Dark Ages. The church ruled through its manipulation and monopolization of intellectual endeavors. Ignorance reigned supreme, and only the church actually knew anything.

Education begets freedom--not ignorance. It wasn't until the Enlightment that we exploded out of the middle-ages.

I think that people that believe in such willfully ignorant concepts as "satan's influences" should loose their right to vote, for they don't exhibit the intelligence to make rational decisions.

What you propose can only be labeled as the American Taliban, and varies very little from the Muslim Taliban and their Muslim cleric leaders.

Ah, so that's where you are 'coming from'. Just can't keep a gratuitous slur on the President out of it, can you? Pity.

To crush your parade, our presidents have always been better educated than the American Public, even at a time when higher education wasn't common.

The American people are stupid, yourself included. We're barely aware of our own ant colony. If you want someone running a country, in a position of power making important decisions that dictate the future of millions or billions of people, you want those decisions being made on good, reliable, information.

It's why I refuse to accept any president or politician who outright rejects the theory of evolution. Most republican politicians and many democrat ones are on their asses for that. If you can't make a simple decision based on a century of research because your personal beliefs yield a little cognitive dissonance, you are not qualified to make decisions for a township, much less a country.
