The thread title indicates a misunderstanding of the terms "theory" and "fact" as used in science.

There is a theory of gravity (how and why it works) and the reality of gravity (go jump off a cliff if you don't believe me). Evolution is the same. There is no question that evolution occurred. The theory of evolution is an attempt to explain the facts (and it has more evidence than the theory of evolution).

Natural selection, mutation and adaptation have been observed and are fact.

I don't recall the Bible claiming Adam was a doctor, so I must agree; dirt to doctor is erroneous. Of course, the theory of evolution doesn't include dirt-to-doctor either, so, other than being fairly humorous, dirt-to-doctor is a meaningless (creationist, I assume) catch-phrase.
