Aren't you guys tired of realizing, as you well know inside your stubborn heads, that you have been officially proven wrong? Multiple times X multiple times?
Whaaaaaa happened there?
I think it's either an inability to deal with the cognitive dissonance of bible-belief vs reality, or just plain diminished intellectual capability.
Like I said you want it spelled out for you...Do your own honest objective research...Ask yourself why someone 6000 years ago would write something like that...Just for fun???...
Meaning you can't prove it, and are pulling your opinions out of thin air. There is no proof of any biblical texts before possibly the *based on the large date spans with carbon dating* 2nd century b.c.e, so any view that it was written 6000 years ago is simple conjecture on your part.
Yep. Enjoying and encouraging the conversation. (I like really smart people who can advance a well-thought-out argument. Saying, "Bonjour" to a poster does not qualify. That means the thread is headed for "God said it, that's enough!" or perhaps, "Final word!" Which is usually stated before they disappear into the mist.)
True, true! We conservative scientists (sing along now... "Don't yah wish you were intellectually hot like me??") reserve the right to improve our conclusions! Unlike your emotionally driven suggestion, it's not a total rejection of past theories. Rather, it's improvements.
Only intransigent Christians seem to be capable of lying endlessly, and of assuming that all the ancient Biblical Truisms are exactly that: inarguable, always providing a complete answer to everything, even when we have disproven their once inarguable "flat earth", instant Genesis, ±6000 year-old timeframe stuff, and so on.

You a scientist?...LOL! ,,, Nothing has been disproven...
It is a near impossibility for one to think their religious scripture is in error.
Just my opinion. but I feel if a person is afraid to question their religious scriptures, that is a strong reason they should.
Salam akee...I do question my religion as strongly as I question science...
