Is it just me or is praying for rain the most ignorant thing you've ever seen. Ummm, who caused the drought in the first place anyway?

I think its really a shame that its come down to this in parts of the SE. However, proper planning could've avoided the situation....

chalk it up as a lesson hopefully learned..

Well whatever we are doing now obviously is not working, so do a rain dance, pray for rain, whatever it takes at this point.

Ok ok, I just hate the fact that ignorance is so predominant still in the 21st century..quite sad indeed.

I should just keep my mouth shut on this one... This just reeks of trying to provoke people. I don't even want to know why you would these people are ignorant... I think people are more jaded and despondent...

But ultimately what’s wrong with people trying any method they choose for a positive reaction.

Nothing I guess, I just think its kinda funny to pray to the entity that is causing the drought as it is.

Wait, you're the one saying that God causes droughts, but you want to discuss rampant ignorance? Okay, just wanted to get that straight.

Sounds to me just like you're trolling for an argument.

FWIW, it DID rain just this morning.

I think the supreme being is responsible for everything good and bad . Cant pick and choose it what you want to give credit for and blame to. I'll stop now, didn't want this to be a religion argument, my point was instead of conserving water and being responsible , government chooses to "pray" for what they need. Wonderful.
