I don't believe in god so my position is nothing comes from god. I'm still looking for some kind of proof in this thread that it does.

I know because if morality did come from god then people who either do not know of god, and those that do not believe any god exists would not be moral...Obviously that is not the case.

As a matter of fact we all get our morality from the same source, and that source is not god... Morality is simply our understanding of cause and effect coupled with our desire for the well being of society and individuals in society. Those desires are born out of our sense of empathy and compassion for others.

Apparently, this concept is too difficult to grasp for those who prefer to believe morality is found solely in their particular interpretation of their favourite edition of an old book a bunch of guys re-re-re-re-re-wrote many centuries ago.
