It astounds me that people that take the story of Noah as literal find it a perfectly acceptable action by god. Not only do they accept this murderous action they worship him as loving and benevolent. The real head scratcher is this story is only one of many in which god kills innocents randomly and Christians seem perfectly fine with it. If your god was a benevolent one he wouldn't murder innocent children.
Were there no children? No infants? Maybe god should have had Noah load the boat with them instead of animals.
If god loves us so much, he wouldn't want us to suffer. Even a pet owner puts down his animals in the most pain free method they can. Why didn't god just snap his fingers and make all of the bad ones disappear? No suffering, not drowning (probably not a pleasant way to die), just poof they're gone. THAT would have made a statement, if thousands had just poofed out of existence and the surviving would have straightened up real quick.
Actually drowning is the most peaceful way to go...
All save Noah and his family received the death penalty. So, everyone was guilty of capital crimes? Including all the children who were wiped out in the flood?

Really? You have got to be kidding.
I have a Navy Seal in the family, and he's done extensive underwater training which includes staying underwater past the point of breathing in water and he said it's the most terrifying thing he's ever experienced. Which includes being in live fire fights.
So ylu think the whole globe was populated at that time?...
4000 years ago? Yes, the whole globe was populated back then, even the Americas and East Asia.
