Several months ago Charles Manson was granted permission to marry a woman young enough to be his granddaughter. Though there were some difficulties for him in obtaining the marriage license behind bars prior to the actual nuptials, I didn't really hear any concern over whether or not he should be allowed to get married.
For that matter, we frequently allow murderers, rapists and other members of society who are locked away for life due to their crimes, to marry behind bars. In fact, generally speaking, there isn't really an argument over this in our society.
But, what does it say about our society when two people who love one another, and have done nothing wrong other than be of the same sex, cannot get married? Yet a guy with a nazi symbol tattooed on his forehead who lead a cult of people to murder numerous innocents isn't met with the same kind of resistance?
I just find it interesting that religious people in America, either wittingly or unwittingly, put the rights of Charles Manson before that of a homosexual person.

Thats because homosexuality = buttsex in the minds of some religious people.
And these same minds think buttsex is worse than murdering your own son because god said so as well as incest with your daughter because you are drunk (and the woman initiated it anyway of course).
Why no concern, didn't here about it, it is not like charlie boy is going to be on the outside enjoying married life. God will be there for Mr. Manson on judgement day.
I've completed my review of Charlie's crimes in the late '60s.
Charlie is lucky that there probably is no god...
I once met a retired doctor who was one of those who examined Manson when taken into custody. He said that in person the guy is not even remotely impressive ... a timid and seemingly harmless little thing who apparently doesn't display his hubris and sociopathic charm when he's feeling vulnerable.
No, don't drink, just a terrible typist, how about you ?
