Again, you're only human. How can you be certain that the way you interpret God's word is correct? Maybe you feel that you are, but what we feel isn't always right.
We are more than just human (physical). We are spiritual beings.
In order to understand the spiritual, it is necessary to have the help of thee Spirit.
God's word is written on our hearts (spirits) and in order to access that word, we must believe it exists and begin to excercise the inner heart muscle.
Try something, close your eyes and hold your palms about 2 inches apart in prayer position, slowly move them to and from each other without touching them together. Send an emotion (happiness, love, peace etc.) from your heart (just above your belly button) to your hands, do it with strength and concentration. If you are still enough you will feel a force. This is your spirit...
If you have never felt it before it may take a few minutes of concentration.
Enjoy...
Anatomical correctness aside, how can you be sure that your spirit (which is part of you, a mere human) is right?
The heart i am speaking of is the spiritual heart center.
Do you really expect any definition i give you to satisfy your doubt? I know because i have lived it and tested it. It would be harder for me to deny it than to believe it, it is like fire is hot, and ice is cold.
I gave you a way to prove it to yourself, if you wish to find, approach it without doubt. If you wish to disprove, then that is what you will find.
I'm not asking for a definition, or a method of meditation (which I do often), I'm asking for an answer to the questions I pose.
Maybe by answering my questions truthfully, you could convince me that your opinion is right. Maybe by examining your thoughts honestly, my questions will lead you to a new conclusion.

Its not my place to convince, and it is better to ask if i am being truthful than assuming i am not.
What i shared with you is not a form of meditation, it is an excercise in discovering your spiritual energy.
As to a new conclusion, why would i need a new one when i have found thee one.
Have YOU looked? Do you know God? If you don't know God, you won't recognize His voice no matter how many times you look in the Bible. Those who earnestly seek are those who find the answers, and the first thing a seeker will find is God. Then, He will start revealing the answers to your questions. The answer that satisfies ME is probably not the answer that will satisfy YOU. That is why you need to do your own seeking.
Have you looked for an imaginary friend? Do you know your imaginary friend? If you don't invent an imaginary friend, you won't recognize their voice when your imagination tells you they're speaking to you. Those who earnestly seek for an imaginary friend are the ones who will find one. Once you find an imaginary friend, he will start revealing all the answers to your questions. Of course, MY imaginary friend will tell me different things than YOUR imaginary friend. That's why you need to make up one of your own.
Oh, yeah...and my imaginary friend is real because he tells me he is.

The difference between an imaginary friend and a true God, is that God answers prayers, and guides those that ask for His guidance, which reveals a track record of successes that prove to the seeker, He is real.

godspeed,

People who hear voices rarely believe that they are not real. It doesn't make it true, though, no matter how much they say they can prove it.
