Go read the FAQ in the Sticky thread in the Atheism & Agnosticism sub-forum. I did NOT write it. Several of the member collaborated on it and ask us (the moderators) to post it for them.
There is no such thing as an Atheist doctrine. Ask them.
Atheism, by definition, has nothing to do with consequences. The term means exactly one thing: No belief in any God. Anything further is beyond the scope of Atheism.
After reading some of the posts on this forum, I thought it odd that so many atheists come out of their way to come here to attempt to discredit Christ.
If I were an atheist, I wouldn't care. Nothing like this would matter.
I mean, why would I care about what someone else believes?
In fact, some of them can get downright rude about it. But for some reason, atheists feel they have the right to do it.
Could it be they are searching for the truth?
Or maybe they see the truth, but they're fighting to submit to the one true God?
For all the atheists who lurk here, what do you say?
First of all, what do you mean by "discredit"? For example, I no longer believe in God. Yet I believe that Jesus was a great teacher of many moral values.
Second, why do Christians care what someone else believes. They must, or they wouldn't be all over the world attempting to convert people.
Well, they do have the right. Free speech...remember that?
Nothing to do with submitting to one true God. Knock that right out of your head.
Atheist position themselves as religious can believe what they want just never try to convert the atheist ........ Where the humanist is offended at any one even believing in God , and would like to close down religion completely ....

I don't feel a need to discredit Christ or any other deity that I don't believe exists. I discredit the idea that your belief in Christ is a reasonable basis for creating laws and regulations that will impact the way I live my life. Keep your Christ out of my life and I couldn't care less what you or anyone else believes. However, some Christians feel that their religious beliefs should be used as the basis for telling an entire country of millions of people from diverse backgrounds how they can live. I will fight this Christian version of the Taliban with every means that I have available.

A REAL atheist knows the game and goes out there to make that CASH!!!
I get it. Atheism is great. It's the religion for people that can't control themselves.
I would love to be an atheist. You can do whatever the hell you want as long as you don't get caught.
I could have figured out a way to scam some unsuspecting people and make a lot of money in the process.
But yet...I am not an atheist.
I envy you though. Hopefully, you are not one of them fake atheists though. Because a real atheist will get ya and make ya put your hand in their pocket.
