I am a believer and I believe that everything God created is part of nature..I believe that I am the part of nature that scientists have named "mammal"..I believe that I am part of Gods nature that he made in his image..I believe I am the highest form of animal that possesses a brain that can understand complexities, can reason, can feel emotions, can comprehend "human nature"
can invent ways to make my "natural "life easier and more comfortable, and can make choices , not from instinct, but from the spirit that is part of God that dwells only in the highest form of nature that God created..

I think there are a lot of intelligent creatures, but because most are so perfectly adapted to their environment they have no need to build things. Chimps are the only creature that has learned to communicate in another species language...Man has never been able to do this.

Local News | "Signing" chimp Washoe broke language barrier | Seattle Times Newspaper

An elephant is considered by scientists to be the ninth most intelligent species after man, but after seeing this I wonder if they are underestimated?

Then why don't we simply follow "natural" law...instead of making artificial laws?

When i think of natural law i think gravity, thermodynamics and electromagnetism to name a few. Coincidentally every human in the world follows these laws without fail so if you mean other "natural laws" then you are gonna have to define them and justify their existance

What about...the law of the jungle, the survival of the fittest?

That's a natural law. But we try to use law to protect the weak and infirm, who don't deserve to live...by the terms that nature itself uses.

There is no such thing as someone not deserving to live, survival of the fittest or more accurately survival of the better adapted is the logical conclusion from a series of observations in nature. Google the word "Altruism" or "game theory" if you want to understand how helping others in times of need makes us better suited at surviving.

In the physical sense, yes we are part of nature. However, myself and as many argue, on the spiritual end, we are different. Physically we are bound by nature's limitations placed on us, as are all living species of this planet. Spiritually, we are sperate from all living things, in my opinion.

I don't agree...only the "strong" should survive. If you're part of the herd that is weak, you get culled.

What if the weak herd is the one in which the members don't help each other out?
