I only know what you wrote, and my interpretation of what you wrote left something to be desired...in my personal view. Man pledges, man fails, and probably you do too.

It is the same now with a number of issues that 'Some' Christians and churches are fighting. No doubt they will claim later on that 'they were wrong to do so' and claim that many Christians were supporting many of the issues that are being fought over right now.

This is the ongoing swindle of religious apologetics. To blame anything bad on humans and claim anything good for their religion.

p.s

and yet again we have drifted off the topic to general apologetics. Par for the course, i suppose.
Well put.

So try to stay on topic. This is what happens when you have no agenda but to insult Christians and try to make us look bad. Your attacks are scattershot and we're left chasing bunny trails all over the place. So stay on topic.

You are in no position to point the finger. On P 1 you posted this

BaptistFundie;56101984]You don't have to be condemned to hell. Jesus will forgive you if you trust in him.

and the digression went on from there. You happily pushing it along. Your attempt to blame atheists for being at fault here is rather hypocritical. Even without trying to use your dishonesty to craftily try to discredit the thread - topic itself, which i suspect you are trying to do.

I was responding to someone that was concerned about seeing the priest in hell. I was making the point that she didn't have to go there. My post wouldn't have been there if not for her post.

I'm well aware of that, but Phet's comment related to topic; yours was the first to digress onto doctrine. Though I suppose it did relate...but that's how digressions happen. Talk about agenda (ours) as somehow to blame isn't called for.

My comment related to Phet's comment. She took it off track. To be honest, this whole thread is simply a denomination bashing thread.

Well, there's plenty to bash Miss BP.

"Miss"? I'm not a Miss. But did I inadvertently call you by the wrong gender? If so, I humbly apologize. I honestly thought you were a woman. It's hard to keep track. Seriously. It was not intentional.

But let's be honest...your response, and this entire thread was simply a thread to attack a denomination. That sort of thing wasn't allowed not too long ago, but I guess it's just common nowadays.

Oh, you're not a "miss". Well neither am I.
