the King James bible is the fifth revision of the Tyndel bible which was printed on the Gutenheim printing press in Worms, Germany. The Tyndel bible was the first book ever printed using this removable type printing press.
Tyndel was persecuted and choked to death and with his dying words said "May God open the eyes of the king." And King James became an advocate for the printing of the bible, causing the King James version to be made by 1611.

The first few editions of the King James bible included extra books no longer included in the protestant bibles. From 1611 - the 1640's, each KJV bible contained the following extra books:

Manuscripts of the books of Exodus and Samuel from the dead sea scrolls found in Cave Four exhibit dramatic differences in both language and content from what they do in the modern bible.
So either the version of exodus you have in your bible is right, or the manuscript that the Jews were using 2000 years ago is right.
