Yes! 1. Jesus made MORE wine [an extra 600 liters] at a wedding [he drank MORE alongside with his
mother and the disciples, who when drunk [probably] exclaimed, “This is the
Christ!” (John 2:11)]; 2. He drank alcoholic liquids regularly with sinners and prostitutes, Matthew 11:19; 3. He taught that the poor and poverty would always be among the Jews
[a strong element of alcoholism in Israel], John 12:8, Luke 7:22, Romans
15:26; 4. And the Jewish scriptures endorsed substance abuse to soften the
horrors of life [Proverbs 31:6-7].
Jesus was only an occasional drinker. He didn't turn water into wine either.
He drank to show people that, in moderation, drinking is not a sin. It's only when you let drinking control you that it's a sin. Same thing with everything else in life.

Where does it ever say that Jesus ever drank wine? YOu are pulling that out of the air unless you have proof or evidence that Jesus ever drank wine. Where does it ever say that Jesus drank wine to show people how to drink?
The OP is really making a stretch to suggest that Jesus advocated alcoholism and was always trying to get people drunk. Given the fact that the Bible mentions in a number of places that too much drink is not a good thing and Jesus is never described as some sort of party animal I think that the basis for this thread is extremely weak.

Point #3 in the OP is the weirdest:
Jesus said there would always be poor people among Jews and this somehow advocates alcoholism?
On the other hand the OP is a great example of how subjective modern interpretions of Biblical scriptures are inevitably unreliable.

Reread my answer. I didn't say He drank wine to show people how to drink. That would be just silly!

And where do you have proof that he converted 600 liters of water into wine?!...

And what about the poor? Alcoholism and drugs are rampant among the poor and miserable. Jesus did nothing of solid value to end poverty in Israel.
It's because He didn't come here to change the world. He came to show the world a better way through the Love of God.
People think that Mother Teresa was a bad person because she didn't do anything to help in terms of material things. She did exactly what Jesus did. Show them how to live in the world and not be of it. How to cope with the way their life was being led and how to put those worries behind them by being kind to one another, sharing love and tolerance, sowings seeds of Love.
