Pat Robertson gives fundamentalist a bad name, if that's possible. Just what was he thinking? There is no scripture to support his thinking. He really needs to come back to the word of God. He's hurting the gospel!!

Pat Robertson says Haiti paying for 'pact to the devil' - CNN.com

Me too, so I'll just say what a total &*$&&#*#* and leave it at that. And I needn't condemn him or wish him ill- justice and karma will find him, if it hasn't already. He's surely very miserable living in his own "hell" right now; people who spew such ugliness and cruelty can only do so if they are ugly and cruel on the inside. I guarantee he is a very, very unhappy person and has absolutely no true joy in his life.

I bless all the Haitians and their families and hope that they never get wind of what this horrible man said about them and their tragic, devastating loss.

All suffering is due to sin.
that said;
The rain falls on the just and unjust, as do disasters.

I like to see the compassion and brotherly kindness after these events.
Many Saints rise in times of despair.

godspeed,

freedom

People who think that way give me the creeps, frankly your words sound nicer at first glance, but they are not much different from Robertson's.

Maybe it is too boring and down-to-earth for you, but plate tectonics provide a pretty good explanation for the quake.

Natural disasters have nothing to do with God or the devil. It's the natural worings of the world in which we live.
