I agree 100%. Although I wouldn't exactly support 27 million being spent on an evolutionist museum either. It doesn't have enough evidence, really.

This is an interesting question. I'm a Christian, and personally, I can't understand why anyone would even care if I'm wasting my life! If I want to go to church every day for three hours (I don't!), then that's my problem! Some people are just so dumb.

I don't think they are wasting their life. What they are wasting their life is when they are spreading hate messages (such as so and so religion is bad and so and so homosexual is bad). Also I believe they are wasting their life when their organized church ultimately becomes destructive to their surroundings and their personal happiness (for example, scientology).

I think you might find that folks in some ares are already supporting a "evolutionist museum". They are generally referred to as a Natural History museum.

as long as they're happy and their religious beliefs enhance instead of detract from the quality of their life, then it is not a waste. however, if they are not happy and feel like their religion is holding them back, then they are wasting their life.

Are you referring to what is being preached from the pulpit or just in general?
