How can one not believe in something so obvious? I'm not religious and cannot ignore facts, because I have no outdated book of myths that requires me to shut my eyes and ears.

Do you think it's better to believe in old unsubstantiated stories and ignore all the evidence for how all life became what it is today? Do you think it better to just ignore all of the medical advances developed because of the understanding of how evolution works, and go back to chants and incantations used since the bronze age?
That is where medicine would be without what has been learned about evolution.

One who believes that a whale, or fish can swallow a man and release him days later unhurt has to willingly ignore the fact that it is not possible....

You keep your myths, I'll stick to reality, thanks.

It's actually easier for me to believer there's some sort of magical academy for wizards than it is to believe some of the stuff in religious texts.

i believe in a practical evolution and not in the evolution that creates human being.

O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship) . Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.

the one who belives in his creator and the creator of the whale and that he belongs to his creator and to him he shall return has to willingly accept the fact that it is typical.

They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand.Glorified be He, and High be He above all that they associate as partners with Him!

Sorry, but I live in the REAL world, and when I do indulge in wishful thinking it's always about something that is actually possible.
